In the center of Hamburg, in september 2001 the parking system for the five star Seaside hotel Hamburg will be finished. The systems counts 96 public parking spaces, which of course also can be used by the hotel guests. 

By software the cars will be optimal devided over the available parking spaces. The access control system works with magnet cards and an automatic paying machine.

There are two drive in-/out boxes in the garage. Furthermore the system has two buffer spaces to coop with high intense use of the system. In case the system is full, these buffers also can be used as parking spaces.

Waiting times vary between 1 minute for the front spaces and 3 minutes for the most far and behind spaces. The output lays around 70 cars per hour. The space used per car is ca. 40 m³.
